Process Consultant

For our HQ in Amsterdam, we are looking for a skilled

Process Consultant

32-40 hours

 

with strong process analysis expertise to join our newly established process management team. In this role, you will focus on evaluating current processes, analyzing key metrics, mapping workflows, and identifying improvement areas. Additionally, you will orchestrate all aspects of a business process change in co-production with department managers and process performers. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing and transforming our business processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations that support operational efficiency and better outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive mapping documentation and conduct detailed performance metrics analysis to analyze and evaluate current business processes, identifying inefficiencies and performance gaps and determining opportunities for improvement.
  • Report findings and recommendations to stakeholders, highlighting opportunities for process transformation, and providing insights on potential for operational efficiency, automation and digitalization.
  • Assist department managers owning cross-departmental processes in setting up performance metrics monitoring and coordination for addressing cross-departmental operational issues and deviations
  • Lead process redesign and reengineering initiatives, working closely with various departments and facilitating workshops to gather insights and feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition and effective implementation of new workflows, processes, and procedures.
  • Orchestrate all aspects of business process change using the SCOPAFIJTH framework, ensuring alignment with all stakeholders.
  • You report directly to the Head of Process Management.

Personal Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in process analysis, metrics evaluation, and process mapping
  • Experience in banking or consultancy is preferred
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, PDCA, Whys.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience with process mapping methodologies as customer Journey Mapping and tools as Visio, BPMN 2.0, ARIS.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently, be proactive, able to prioritize and operate under tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
