Financial & Sustainability Reporting Specialist

 

Key Responsibilities

As the sole member of the sustainability team, you will play a critical role in;

  • Leading the sustainability reporting process to ensure adherence to relevant rules and regulations, such as the CSRD and EU Taxonomy,
  • Supporting the Bank's ESG risk assessment policy, process and framework development and monitoring to ensure full compliance with applicable rules and regulations and alignment with the Bank's risk appetite, loan underwriting principles, and business strategy,
  • Supporting the Bank’s data collection and GHG emissions inventory development covering Scope 1-2-3 emissions,
  • Identify reporting and data requirements related to ESG-reporting and participate in system improvement projects to facilitate a more data-driven reporting set-up.
  • Collaborating closely with risk management functions, underwriting departments, and business units to ensure proper ESG assessment during loan origination and monitoring,
  • Reports directly to the Sustainability Manager.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to further embed sustainability into our business operations and decision-making processes. This is an exciting opportunity to create a positive impact and lead our Bank towards a more sustainable future.

Personal Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in sustainability/ESG field within banking, consultancy, risk management, or related environments,
  • Knowledge of key sustainability issues and regulations, ESG international standards/principles and best practices and their relevance to the banking sector,
  • Former IFRS reporting experience is a plus
  • Demonstrating effective and clear verbal/written communication skills,
  • Ability to work independently, be proactive, prioritize and operate under tight deadlines.
